So this video does NOT show how to record on an iPad per se, but how to record the iPad screen on a laptop. Kind of misleading. But a good video if THAT is your setup.

Hi there, does anyone know how to get all the information on your display? When flying, I am missing my ISO, shutter speed and everything. Is there a switch to turn this on? Thank you in advance!

Perhaps a bit unrelated, but have you experienced any performance issues with Mac or Drone in "winter" temperatures? Also, ever worry about standing around with 10K worth of toys in a park? 😳

There's only one question left: How do you import the screen of iPhone or iPad to Final Cut Pro?

I'm amazed at the time and effort you invest in your videos, and I'm pleased that I subscribed. When you said "Let's look at Android for a second", you weren't kidding. I would have liked a bit more coverage of the Android recording of screen. Do you start recording before you launch Go or after? There are some of us who don't have smart phones or tablets who don't easily pick up things like this. I got a tablet just to use with my DJI P3, but I have little idea about the OS. I think recording telemetry is important, so this is something I want to learn. Thank you for at least spending a 'second' on it.

    HI Josh,
Thanx for another great video. This may be a question you can't answer. I used to be into all things computers back in my younger days. As I got older I got away from the ins and outs of all the new technology. Back in the day you were usually All PC or all MAC and going back and forth was complicated. I say this because what I want to try to do. I just ordered Mavic ( my first drone). I want to get an IPad mini 4 to use solely for the Mavic display. Is it possible to record the IPad screen to a Windows based PC computer. actually can I do a screen capture on the IPad (like I would with the android) then import the video into a windows PC. I currently have zero experience with any apple products. up until late now I have always been using PC and Android. The reason I want to use the IPad for the Mavic is because I want to use the Autopilot app by flight logic Witch is only available for IPad. Is there any way to get a screen capture from an IPad into a PC based computer..

    Thanx for the help,
    keep up the great videos.

Sorry, I couldn't hear/understand which software you use on the Mac to record the TM data from your Ipad. I'm not a Mac person (been in the Android realm all this time), but just trying to get a grasp on the connectivity and software you use in your setup. I think you may have gone a bit too fast in the the connectivity/software explanation, and the audio clarity made it a bit tougher to understand. Maybe an explanation while indoors, and then a review when outdoors getting ready to use it all. Great videos by the way. Rookie pilot here having a blast with my Phantom 3 Standard

Have you found a way to record your IOS screen when using the Mavic? Since it needs the lighting port to connect to the controller.

While I am on a run, what procedure did you follow to obtain your FAA commercial license? Where to begin, about study materials, and any information that one could use and follow in order to get a commercial license. Are there more advantages to obtain one as to flying as a hobbyist?

Another concern that I just recently ran across is the need to put the P3S batteries inside a bag while charging. I have not seen too much on this but am concerned that we all have dangerous batteries to deal with. I have felt my batteries during and after charging them and have never felt the slightest bit of warmth. Wondering, is this a tactic to provide more sales for the maker of these bags or what? What is your take on this subject? Do you or any of your pilot friends use or "swear" by these bags?

I don't understand. I thought you had to have the lightning cable of your iPad plugged into the radio of your Phantom radio. Am I missing something? at 1:05 of the video, the lightning cable is plugged into the MacBook but is it not necessary to connect to the radio? Your videos are excellent and are explained very well. Especially the Final Cut tutorial. Thanks! Looking forward to your answer so I can give it a try.

Merry Christmas. Wondering for those of us that don't have a Mac PC and are running Windows 10, what program would you recommend to use for downloading video and then editing the video? I would like to add music to the videos as well. Thanks so much for your doing all the work for us beginners here, I for one greatly appreciate it. As I am brand new to drones, my desire is to be able to make quality videos to show my friends and find out if there is someway that I can send them through the internet.
