April 30, 2022 at 7:24 amIt wouldn’t be surprising if the price for these drops below 100 when the Mini 3 arrives since they are already cheaper than 1 and 2 models. A drone that goes almost 2 miles for that price can’t be beat IMO.

Especially considering all the forest and swapland around here in Florida. What is the likelihood of it for returning to home successfully when it loses connection? 9/10? 5/10 times? Because there are also a lot of apartments in the area but I'll try to stay away from those.

April 30, 2022 at 7:24 amThe DJI MINI SE is a great little drone, just like all the other DJI Drones. It is basicly a MINI 2 with a Mini 1 control system. I also have one as I commented in the video of 28 February 2022. Nice video. Liked again! : )

April 30, 2022 at 7:24 amI got 6.54km today. I live in a DC suburb. Lots of WiFi. But I used range extenders and was on an elevated overpass. I only stopped going because I got a battery warning RTH (high winds and cold temp killing battery).

We put it through its paces and it performed flawlessly. I'm thrilled with it and how easy it is to fly for a rookie like me. Best bang for the buck!

I am thinking of either buying the SE or mini 2 the mini SE more because of the price difference of $250 AUD and the that 4k files are too big and only using it for pure boredom not any type of photography just to fly and look at the screen. Also seems the mini 2 Max's out at around 3 – 4kms anyway before it gets low on battery. So leaves me thinking is the mini 2 worth it in terms of the better connection ?

I have a DJI Spark now and looking to upgrade mostly just got that 10 or more minutes of flight time the SE can get. Not sure why some combos on Amazon and other places doesn't show the carrying box, that should be standard. Also, I am guessing you have to charge the battery with the usb cable inside of the drone. I would end up buying the 3 battery hub and a extra pack.
