if you forgot to bring your sd card for the drone , does it only record the low res version cache file straight to the phone or is there another way to still access the proper quality shot?

I lost my memory card but I still have my footage on my djifly app. How can I transfer it from the phone to a laptop?

Question so if I just insert the SD card to my laptop and import footage, the high res version would automatically be the one downloaded ?

Just a heads up, for anyone with Mavic Mini 2, once you connect your phone via bluetooth to the drone, you enable QuickTransfer mode, which can download content very quickly (approx 25MB/s).

Has anything changed since this video came out regarding the first method he showed? When I download the HD version in the DJI Fly app I don’t need to have the drone turned on at all. I always do it with it off, it gives an option for 720p or 1080p

How does one download the cache files themselves? My drone is recording glitchy choppy video that seems to be corrupted, but the cache video plays fine. (have tried 2 diff SD cards in the drone same results). I'd really like to have the cache video, how do we download the actual cache video?

I'm having a heck of a time figuring this out with the FPV… does this work the same? I currently only have the micro side on the drone.

I just put my mini SD card into my adapter and then plug into my PC and transfer all videos there and after editing, then I move the files into a folder on my external (storage) Hard Drive. This keeps all these large files off my phone and off my PC, but easily accessible for uploading, editing or what have you.

What resolution does a 4k drone show on your phone whilst your flying?

I am new to the Mini 2 and video/photo management and am confused. I have taken several videos at 4K and pictures. I use a SanDisc 64 Extreme U3 A2 in the drone. I first tried the Quick Transfer following one of your other videos to transfer what I thought was a high res video to my IPhone 8 Plus and I believe into my phone fly app album. I am still not sure if there is a way to transfer this video to my camera roll so I can transfer it using Photos into my PC. Anyway today I downloaded my videos/photos to my pc directly from the SD card to the PC. When I play them they are jerky and pixelated at times. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? My flying is not too good and it was windy which would account for some of it, but I am disappointed. Hope you can help thanks.

Solution found, It never occurred to me that my (not that old) Thinkpad laptop was not capable of 4K.. I shot some video in 1080P 30fps and downloaded them to my pc via cord and directly off the card. It performed perfectly. I cant imagine how much better 4K must be…

I just switched to an iPhone solely because my Android does not run the Mavic (even though the Asus M2 is listed as it can).
However with the iPhone there is no data cable that goes from the mini port on the Mavic to the lightning on the phone like Android has.
Sure glad I found this vid as I dont want to be yanking out the mini SD every time I want to text a HD photo to a customer. Never noticed that download icon on the photos before. Basically I can have the photo sent off in a text before the Mavic slams into the ground for the 100 ft aerial shots I need.
Pretty amazing tiny drone. Just surfing youtube one day and Mavic seemed to come up as the go to drone to compare to. Within minutes of watching youtube about the gimble, the quality of the vid/pics, I had mine ordered. My second flight it got blown away, then later I found out about S mode.
