April 7, 2022 at 3:16 pmI would have preferred to see them both at 4k 60fps – to catch the overall smoothness and sharpness. I never understood why folks use 24 fps when the higher frame rates look so much better and higher quality.

April 7, 2022 at 3:16 pmThere are a lot miss understanding about high-resolution and high-definition. The EVO 2 Pro has a higher definition in witch image quality superior by miles over the DJI Air2 lower definition. Night and Day comparing. Also the way you compress files seams too compressed. Try next time H265 with a minimum of 200Mbits with a higher frame rate. Note that ALL monitors and Displays today don't playback at 24fps or 25fps. Render you videos with minimum of 30fps even if you are in Europe, ALL displays today uses HERTZ and 1 Hertz = 1 frame, so if you display is above 60hertz all contents will be duplicated causing strobes while playing back. Tip: next time you by a camera or drone with a camera, NEVER go for the highest resolution and yes go for the highest-definitions. I will be create a tool that you can tell what native sensor+lens real resolution before drone companies fake higher resolutions on containers.

I saw other tests, and the air2s has also a way better follow me mode, despite a lack of sensors compared to the autel evo2.

April 7, 2022 at 3:16 pmI don't quite understand 5 or 6 k. Most monitors can only display 4 k. Is it for cropping? or improved stabalization, that a 5 k sensor can give us software based stabilization with a 4 k output? BTW… It looks beautiful.

April 7, 2022 at 3:16 pmI think it would've been fair to judge if both drones we're flown on the same path..if both drones was flown in auto mode I noticed that the Air 2S was adjusting the white balance from the trees to an open area.. hard to make a fair judgement..IMAO
