April 6, 2022 at 4:06 amHey, Drone UK. hope you are all well I was just "wondering" if it was possible to use some of these incredible drone footage/tracking shots of the ManchesterSkyline for a #Koyanisqaatsi style #film I'm working on about Manchester and the #NorthWest, no voices, just the screen, and an amazing soundtrack?
I've been making the #film for over four years now
and it is set in three chapters. Chapter 1 #PILLARS will show the age of industry through archival footage and will phase into shots I've taken over the years showing the transition/change.
Chapter 2 #REMNANTS will show what is left, nothing but pure Urban Decay abandonments – empty graffiti-ridden wastelands, etc.
Then Chapters 3 #PROGRESS will show what is happening now and how far the City has evolved or devolved depending on the way you see it and that is where the drone shots will come in, to show a #NewWorld/Change whether for the better or for worse.
The quality of the film will improve throughout from a #16mm film look right through to your HD Skylines and my 4K City and Abandonment footage from ground level which I have acquired thousands of hours of footage from graffiti-ridden rat runs abandoned pubs/mills right through to theatres etc. The film will be quite the #visual feast and has been quite an undertaking over the years.
All credit will be given in a cinematic style in the film and as the credits roll not just palmed off with a link but don't get me wrong all links are shared as it is a collective effort you won't be unrecognized that's because I'm hoping to have the film seen at many venues/festivals across the UK.
If it's something you would like to be a part of then #Raw #ungraded #footage is preferable so the film can be color-coded in a particular way because I have created a specific LUT to give the film a certain cohesion throughout if not I can download straight from the channel but I'm not sure how well it will gel.
Anyway cheers either way I really enjoyed the footage regardless.

And there is another road on a really high hill where you can have ice cream and see our huge town,and Manchester!
