    Is this Hard drive a card reader? I almost spend so much money on this product when I could just buy a MicroSD card reader and save my drone footage that way

    @Joel Caradonna
    i have one and i'm happy to use it. I connect the drive with my phone and not with a laptop.
    Think creative 😉

    I don't get it…. Guy brings a Laptop and the 100 bucks Cardreader to the wilderness, erm, why not just buy a cheap card reader for 9 bucks (that is if your notebook does not have one yet which is rare these days)??? I mean, the idea should be if you are on the go for many days and film for more than your SD memory, to replace that with many micro-SDs while leaving the laptop at home but since the HD needs Laptop or electrical power to work, it makes 0 sense…. They should have made such a HD with specialized batteries that hold long, so you can throw the movies from drone into there, and then when you go back home days later, you just transfer it to the PC from there. Again, makes 0 sense to buy it. Literally.

    Ughhh… Most laptops have card readers. What's the point? If you have to bring your laptop, why would you need the dji drive.

    Too bad I could never fly my drone anywhere like this guy does because of stupid bans on flying drones at state parks.
