Mini, not for me, can be pretty windy in Norway.
Mini Se flymore cost 488$ here… believe ir or not, is not even released in norway yet, but will in 6 days. But No Ocusync and not the good controller throwing me off.
Mini 2, i love that drone but 688$ for fly more New vs a Mavic air 2 flymore used for 700$, i will have to go for for the mavic air 2
Mavic air 2s, cost 1475$ here, OUTTTT of my budget
The last weeks i been trying all of them (not mini Se), is a place here who rent them out for a small amount. And i must say I love the Mavic air 2 so much <3
The Ocusync is just a must have for me, is annoying with wifi and all the warnings + not clear picture on the phone

Beautiful prictures, how it puts all pictures together, and it looks fuccking awesome when it shoots them pictures.
Track me mode, is nice cuz most of the time im out solo

The only thing im afriad of is no DJI care when i buy used =) Im happy with my choice and will get the Mavic Air 2 asap <3

February 26, 2022 at 10:23 amIn my use tracking/follow me are the most important aspects. I don't care if it flies past 500m, I don't need 40 minutes flight time. Anything over 1080 or 2k is just a bonus.
I (edit: intend to) carry a drone on multi-day backcountry trips, filming canoeists, climbers etc. during their activity. There will be the odd panoramic shot, but not a lot. I need to be able to recharge everything, as fast as possible, by solar charger
I wish the follow me (etc) functionality was discussed more in reviews like this.
Would you ever do a comparison of the lightest drones for wilderness use?

February 26, 2022 at 10:23 amI am still in the process in choosing but i would go for the SE since I’m on a tight budget but also i have no experience flying drones. I’m planning to keep on practicing with the SE and then when i feel more comfortable i can switch to higher models…My question is, what would happen if i lost connection with the SE? Would the drone return to it’s home base?

February 26, 2022 at 10:23 amthis made me more confused about mini se and mini 2, and at the same time had a decision leaning towards a second hand mini se – I can get the mini se fly more combo here at around USD330 since it costs around USD468 brand new; on the other hand, a brand new mini 2 will cost me about USD600, almost half the price of a second hand, 2 months old, mini SE. the one thing troubling my decision is mainly the range and the connection of the drone to the controller. This is a pain in the head, can anyone give inputs?

February 26, 2022 at 10:23 amI believe you can adjust the trailing you're referring to in the settings. Being a cinematic drone it's trying to make all the camera movements smooth.
