February 25, 2022 at 4:05 amThe sensors of both drones (Air 2S and Mavic Pro 2) show noticeable diffraction blur already at f/5,6. At f/11 the actual resolution drops down to some 3 megapixels. So the variable aperture of the Mavic Pro 2 is hardly usable – only to f/4 if you are picky and maybe also f/5,6 if you don‘t care too much. But certainly not to f/8 or f/11. So the disadvantage of the Air 2s‘ fixed aperture is really just very small.

February 25, 2022 at 4:05 amAs a beginner to flying drones, I bought the Air 2S. It takes a while to get used to the controls, but once I'd learnt the basics, I was able to create good results in dusk lighting ( and no post processing ) during a trip to Slovenia.

The low light capability of the 1 inch sensor is what sold me the Air 2S, but the stabilisation of the DJI drones is hard to beat.
I love the way the drone can create the illusion of a spinning earth by flying sideways whilst slowly panning in the opposite direction. You can see this effect from 4.11 in the link above.

February 25, 2022 at 4:05 amVery beautiful scenic of Scotland, nice shoots of you by the Air 2S~ I got mine about one and half months ago, but due to the weather and my tighten working time table, I just took it out for testing flight and shooting some raw photos in the magic hour time 2 times only, the 1 inch sensor is unbeatable， especially good performance in low light conditions, and the Air 2S's ability of against the strong wind blowing in about 300~400 meters high in the air is just amazing, 9 out of 10 pictures keep in focus~ more steady than my original Mavic Air 2~ I love this little guy very much~

February 25, 2022 at 4:05 amNice! We have just got one and have been running Mavic 2 Pro's for years now. Initial results look good although the H265 edit side is proving to be a pain! How do you get around that? Run it through Compressor first?
