to be honest didn't see a difference from the inspire to the DJI Mavic but there again did I look. and that's the key. on TV no one would give a hoot. but slow it all down and play with it, yes you can see a slight difference. is that worth the money? cus everything els is the same.

Is it only me (and the 10 year old laptop I'm currently borrowing) but to me the camera doesn't come anyware close to "good" cameras from Nikon and Canon… Like their semi-professional DSLRs. Honestly, it seems like you're paying for the drone and not for the optics. I assume there is room for improvement and time for catch up.

I dont know about the original videos but in youtube the Mavic seems better.Inspire is sharper that makes it less cinematic.

The Mavic Air is even closer 😊
But the inspire gives such depth and more detail in the shadows.

The difference between these two, that I’m aware of is £2000. That for me is HUGE! 🤒 specially the kind of use I’m likely to be giving it. Excellent video and thank you very much for comparing them. They are related after all

Split screen comparison would have been more instructive with letting the images do the talking accompanied by appropriate background music.

It seems to me that in the 4k shootings made with the Mavic Pro the movie is not smooth …

It's just not worth the money for the camera difference. Just like the Phantom 4 Pro but at a much higher level the Inspire 2 is even louder, more bulky, batteries ridiculously expensive it's just crazy I don't know how anybody can justify that money unless they work for Universal Studios making millions of dollars..

I love my mavic Pro, and I returned the Phantom 4 Pro ( loud, intrusive, big, bulky, bring attention to itself constantly not good for drones) , the loud and a horrible Wi-Fi transmission mavic air,

The mavic Pro 2, Enterprise additions are going to be amazing. With interchangeable cameras, 1-inch sensor, it's going to have the best of all the worlds, and take the World by storm…

    😉

Yep there's been a few videos like this with all the DJI drones doing ABCD comparison nobody could tell which drone was which… Something like 90% of the people did not know.. even the so-called videographers..

You're telling us which is which so obviously we're trying to look for the difference. The best comparisons are ones when you don't tell which one is which..

Also with the MAVIC PRO most people use manual settings anyways to fix the green tint it's pretty easy…

What you get great camera and video pictures that we already have with small cameras it takes lots and lots of money to make a little difference.. it's because we're hitting the end of how good footage can actually be of what our eyes can perceive

Other than reference to physical size, I see only a comparison between cameras. What's under the hood should also be taken into consideration. Engineering, design, quality. There has to be a reason one is $1000 and the other is $8000

Sure Professionals here no one says the mavic is useable for Professional work and brands wouldnt use it but people like me for my videos at home its enough and its still great

I really love my mavic, by far the best and most fun camera I have ever owned, getting sointo photography has never been so fun, and I used to do black and white film and papers….. the tech now is so astounding…. thanks for the vid.

Really good comparison video, you can really see the difference in a professsional vs. a hobbyist drone when compared side-by-side! If you just forget about the color clarity and details, what strikes me in your footage is that the Mavic footage is "jerky/laggy" especially when doing panoramic shots. I guess this has to do with transfer speed? 60Mbps on the Mavic and I guess the Inspire 2 X7 has alot higher number on that? Anyways…really found this video intresting to watch. Thumbs up from Sweden!

I mean the inspire 2 is 5x more lol it better be better than my mavic not to mention you can change camaras out

Basically, I think the endpoint is: if you're doing Youtube videos or travel a lot and want to shoot your vacation, the Mavic is perfect. The video quality is perfectly fine for streaming online, and the portability is amazing. The Inspire is what you would use for a more professional thing, be it a movie that's going to be projected on the big screen, or a TV show or advertising.

    February 22, 2022 at 9:20 pm

No comparison between the two I have both. Inspire with x5s and in post so much more detail in the inspire footage. Try and add a lut to the mavic footage it just blows apart.

Mavic is ok for some b roll footage in good light only

Typically I can’t use the mavic footage on a paying project. Great for holiday trips though

why is the video from the Mavic so yaggy compared to the inspire

  • ChessBoxinLIVE
    February 22, 2022 at 9:20 pm

Dang I saw the Mavic and was like wow that's really clean then saw Inspire2 and was like WHOA that's so smooth! But what's with the small jitters that happen occasionally throughout the video? @1:18, 1:22, 1:28, 1:46 as someone listed and 2:29. It's like they were stabilized in post with a warp stabilizer and cause it to have a shake to it.

  • Marcus Fenix
    February 22, 2022 at 9:20 pm

The most important is to get the shot in the can. Unless you are shooting a professional video a Mavic is the way to go. Because you will have it with you when you need it.

Mavic wins for actually flying under the bridge.  Less $ = take more risk flying = win

Overall a very useless and bad comparison! Especially with your chosen scenery, there won't be a big difference if any. Plus, Youtube! Come on. Inspire2 was made for filmmaking…you are shooting with a high shutter! No motion blur at all! Seeing this video, I would never consider buying a 6000$ Drone+Cam
